The Benefits of Love

I’ve been reflecting lately on being a provider who is transparent with my personal relationships. Sometimes I worry that being open with my relationship will cause some people to not work with me. Which it probably does! And that’s okay. I rather enjoy being myself on social media and out in the world. I trust that the right folks will want to connect with me.

Perhaps you’ve seen Adonis on my social media, you’ve heard me talk about them, or you’ve hired us together (because you’re a genius!) While many providers keep their relationship status private (and rightfully so!) I am in a unique position with dating a fellow provider. Adonis and I are both very open about our love and feel like it benefits us to share it with the world and I hope you agree! We recently celebrated our 7 year anniversary and we’ve been working together since we both started SW 5 years ago. I also have other lovers who aren’t part of this world so they get to stay more private. I’m so grateful to have so much love in my life!

The perks of seeing a provider like me:

  1. I don’t need your love and attention. While I adore the relationships that I get to build in this work, I don’t need them to feel like a whole, complete person. Matter of fact, I actually don’t need my partner for that either! That being said, I do still love receiving your attention.

  2. I’m not going to steal you away. If you are happily in a committed relationship, I have zero desire to disturb what you have going at home. I’m not in competition with your partner just as you’re not in competition with mine. I enjoy having my life at home separate from my work life.

  3. Since we’re not on the relationship escalator,  we get to explore and create a relationship that’s truly unique for us. Imagine what is possible when two people respect one another, build trust and connection, and share intimate experiences. The world is our oyster!

  4. Having deep love in my life benefits everyone around me too. Being well-loved and well-fucked spills over into our time together. I’m happier, funnier and more engaging with everyone who I get the pleasure of connecting with.

The downside of seeing a provider like me:

  1. We’re probably not going to ride off into the sunset together and live happily ever after. Womp womp! Many folks want this fantasy and me being openly in a relationship crushes these dreams. While I do enjoy making fantasies come true, I think it’s important to stay grounded in reality at the same time.

  2. I have exceptionally high standards due to the high caliber folks I spend time with both personally and professionally. While it’s not difficult to get my attention, it does take a certain type of person to create a mutually beneficial, lasting relationship with. Which is what I truly desire.
